Would a siberian cat be right for me if I have asthma or allergies?
The fel d1 protein in a cat's saliva gets onto their coat which is what causes the allergic reaction in people. Siberians have LOW fel d1 proteins in their Saliva; so they are low allergen, not non allergen.
Our goal is to find a permanent home for each kitten, not "try it out."
One option, is to bring the kitten to sit with you in your car (because it's contained) to test if you have an allergic reaction.
Another option is to send a sample of hair from the kitten you're interested in.
We do not do saliva tests at this cattery.
If you have asthma or find your allergies to cats is super high, it would be a good idea to go to an allergist to see what the specialist says.
How do I know you're legit?
I can live FaceTime a kitten you're interested in, and you're welcome to come see the kitten. Our site, and cats are registered with TICA, and all documents will be sent proving the lineage of our kittens whose parents came directly from Russia with a pedigree going back four generations.
How big do siberians get?
Males generally weigh 13.2-19.8 lbs
Females generally weigh 8.8-13.2 lbs
Their height about 11.8-13.8 inches
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, if you purchase another kitten, you will receive 100$ discount no matter when that is.
Is there a big difference between males and females?
Coming from my experience, no.
The only notable difference to me, is males are commonly bigger, and some females can be more cautious, but not by much of a scale.
Some people think males are friendlier, but I don't see a big difference. Some people think males have more fel d1, but once neutered and spayed, the levels are about the same. Both genders make wonderful sweet pets!
